Quick answer: why is a shipping route unavailable?
A route can be unavailable because of the product category, battery or liquid content, parcel size, destination rules, customs requirements or the carrier's current acceptance policy. Do not assume that a restriction can be removed; confirm the exact item and route first.
Read the shipping policy, use the cost estimator, or request a manual route check.
What to do when an item is restricted
- Record the exact SKU, quantity, material and destination.
- Read the reason shown in the order or warehouse restriction notice.
- Ask support whether a compliant route or separate parcel is available.
- Confirm duties, customs responsibility, packaging and the final quote before shipment.
Carrier rules and customs requirements change. A previous shipment or a similar product is not a guarantee that the current parcel is eligible.
1.Why are some shipping options unavailable at checkout?
For international shipping, certain types of products are subject to strict restrictions. Once your order status changes to [In Stock], if the product is subject to shipping restrictions or cannot be shipped to certain regions, we will provide an explanation in the [Reason for Restriction] field.
Please note:
If you are familiar with the product's characteristics and shipping restrictions, you may contact our online customer service to verify with the logistics provider whether shipping restrictions can be lifted for items subject to such restrictions. However, please note that once the shipping restrictions are lifted, you will be solely responsible for any customs-related risks associated with the shipment.
II. Why can't items already in stock be shipped together?
If some items in my warehouse are subject to shipping restrictions, they will also be restricted when submitting a shipping label for the entire shipment.
III. Can restricted items be packed with other goods?
Combining items does not remove product or route restrictions. Ask support which eligible items can travel together and confirm any required documents and packaging conditions before preparation. A general percentage or volume figure is not shipping approval. Prohibited items cannot be made eligible by mixing them with other goods.
IV. Why do some items need to be shipped separately?
For proper packaging or to reduce the parcel's volumetric weight, items with a single side length of 70 cm or more must be packed separately. For the size limit of your selected route, contact support with the destination, parcel dimensions and route name.
V. What Are the Benefits of Consolidated Shipping?
If you consolidate multiple items purchased through a proxy service into a single shipment, we not only provide professional packaging support but can also help you save a significant amount on international shipping costs compared to sending them separately.
This is an illustrative calculation, not a current shipping quote. The EMS example for Singapore uses 115 RMB for the first 500g, 33 RMB for each additional 500g, and an 8 RMB customs clearance fee. Confirm current prices for your selected route.
Suppose you have three packages weighing 700g, 1100g, and 1600g respectively:
1. If you choose to ship them separately, the total international shipping cost would be 567 yuan.
Total international shipping cost = (115 + 33 + 8) + (115 + 33 × 2 + 8) + (115 + 33 × 3 + 8) = 567 yuan
2. If you choose consolidated shipping, you only need to pay 321 yuan in international shipping fees.
Total package weight: 700g + 1100g + 1600g = 3400g
Total international shipping fee = 115 + 33 × 6 + 8 = 321 yuan
3. As shown above, if you choose consolidated shipping, you will save 246 yuan on international shipping fees (567 – 321 = 246 yuan).

VI. How should restricted items be checked before shipping?
Our shipping recommendations are based on general shipping experience; we are not responsible for any customs seizures.
CNCartGo does not ship counterfeit goods, tobacco, alcohol, medications or other prohibited items.
For other potentially restricted products, provide the product link, specifications, quantity, destination and relevant ingredient or material details. Confirm acceptance, required documents, packaging and quantity limits for the specific carrier route before dispatch. A small quantity or container volume does not by itself establish shipping eligibility.
